Sa formation au Conservatoire de Théâtre de Poitiers puis à l’École Documentaire de Lussas lui donne envie de mettre en dialogue cinéma et théâtre. Avide d’expériences, il cherche à dépasser les frontières entre les disciplines, entre les Hommes. Un film documentaire, à chacune de leurs étapes, est pour lui un formidable outil de partage. Pierrick veut concevoir des dispositifs forts, où le corps et la parole trouvent une nouvelle place. Il explore l’Histoire depuis le point de vue du peuple, au prisme d’un quotidien imprégné par le merveilleux et l’incongru. À travers ses films, il porte un regard tendre et comique sur ces petites histoires qui croisent souvent la grande.

Pierrick Chilloux is a documentary filmmaker

From the time of his training, Pierrick engaged in a dialogue between theatre and cinema, notably at the Poitiers Theatre Conservatory or at the Lussas Documentary School. Eager for experiences, he seeks to overcome the boundaries between disciplines and between men. A documentary film, at each stage, is a great tool for sharing. Pierrick designs strong devices, where the body and speech find a new place. He explores history from the point of view of the people, through the prism of a daily life imbued with the wonderful and incongruous. Through his films, he offers a tender and comical look at these small stories that often cross the History.
